Artist Bio
My name is Erris Lerner. I've lived in Colorado my whole life, and I am currently a second-year student at CU Boulder majoring in Art Practices with a primary focus in drawing and digital art/animation.

My journey with art began from the moment I could hold a pencil (or crayon), and though it wasn't until the last few years that I was truly happy with how my art looked, I was never discouraged for long. It helped that I always had the support of my loved ones in my artistic ventures.

Until high school, my main mediums were usually graphite pencil, colored pencil, and water/alcohol-based markers. But by my junior year, I began branching out into digital art when I was able to borrow an iPad equipped with art programs from my school's library thanks to my AP art teacher informing me of their availability. It was then that I found a new passion with digital art and began exploring all new possibilities with my art.

Of course, like anything, it took a little while to get the hang of working with a digital medium, but before long digital art became my new preferred medium (though I will always have a love for traditional pen-and-paper art, and to this day I still enjoy breaking out my colored pencils every often). I started experimenting with animating small scenes frame by frame, and though tedious, I've found a special place in my heart for the finished animations I've created this way.
