This is the main tutorial I followed, I ended up deviating from the tutorial a bit because I wasn't entirely happy with how it looked and I wanted to add fur to my model, so I found a second tutorial on how to add a fur texture. I can't find the link for the second tutorial at the moment, but it was just a simple video of how to make a model appear hairy.
